Inspection Below the Manufactured or Mobile Home

When the area below the manufactured or mobile home is safely accessible, the inspection can provide important information about conditions that may not be visible from inside the home.

The inspector observes visible and accessible components below the home, which may include portions of the floor structure, plumbing lines, support components, piers, moisture-related conditions, skirting and other readily observable conditions.

Accessibility and safety conditions may limit the areas that can be inspected.
